Female

Sita

Age: app. born mid of February 2023
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 54 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats

Sita is a calm, affectionate and cuddly female. She enjoys it so much when you have time for her and stroke her. She just melts away, she loves being touched and cuddled so much. Sita likes to be stroked by everyone, whether woman, man or child. The only important thing for this lovely dog is that it should be gentle and loving.

Sita is always friendly to her mates and doesn't get involved in any bickering. If there is a quarrel with her dog friends in the enclosure, Sita goes out of reach and waits until her mates have calmed down. Sita doesn't push her way in either. She waits until she is called to her and then her eyes light up and she enjoys the brief moment when a 2-bee has time for her. In short, Sita is a gentle, calm, affectionate, cuddly dream dog.

We are looking for people for Sita, preferably a family with older children, who would like to give this lovely female heaven on earth. Sita's dream would be nice walks, a soft basket, tasty food and cuddly, caressing hands. We don't know what Sita knows or can do. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, not emptying a bin, commands and much more are all things that are probably foreign to Sita. But with patience, empathy, time and the love of her new owners, Sita will certainly be able to master many things.

Sita will be completely vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, castrated by the time she embarks on her journey.

Sita's story (as far as we know it) as well as photos and videos can be found here

Antje

Age: app. born begin of March 2015
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 65 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats

Antje now lived with Cristina, her rescuer, for a while. The gentle female blossomed when a two-legged friend looked after her and she felt affection. She loves to be cuddled. As a result, Cristina also found some wounds and scars on Antje's body. A large area on the bridge of her nose was hairless and appeared to be an old scar. Antje had probably had the bridge of her nose burnt off at some point to drive away evil spirits, according to an old superstition. Antje had a larger incrustation on the back of her head and on one ear. Calluses on her elbows. Her teeth are worn down at the front, but her molars show virtually no tartar. Is Antje really already a senior citizen?

Antje is a gentle, very friendly, calm and cuddly dog. Her eyes light up when you stroke her or talk to her quietly. Her tail never stands still. You can tell that she wants to do everything right. She keeps looking at her human to make sure that everything is all right. Antje can already walk quite well on a lead and has no objection to a harness. Walking up and down stairs is completely normal for Antje.

Antje gets on well with her mates, avoids arguments and doesn't push her way in. She loves her basket and is very happy when there is food. When Antje was with Cristina for the first time, she even let Cristina's cats eat from her food bowl. Antje is simply a wonderful dog soul who more than deserves to feel love, security and safety.

We are looking for people who have a preference for large, older dogs for this gentle female. Antje's new home should be at ground level, possibly in a rural location. But most importantly, we are looking for caressing hands that want to spoil Antje and give her heaven on earth. We know nothing about Antje's past. We don't know what Antje knows or can do, but what we do know is that Antje is a wonderful dog's soul.

Antje will be completely vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, castrated by the time she embarks on her journey.

Ronda

Age: app. born mid of April 2022
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 50 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats

Some time has now passed since Ronda and her siblings were found in time and brought to safety. Otherwise the 4 little fur babies would most probably have died of thirst. But now the 4 puppies live with Anca in her "safe place" together with other young dogs. Ronda, Rasty, Romina and Resi (Resi has found a home) have developed very well and have grown into cheerful and bright young dogs. They love to play catch or pull rope with their dog friends. Or they can lie together and doze off after a strenuous game of racing. Ronda also knows cats and has no problems with them.

At first, Ronda is cautious with strangers and looks at them first. If you call her to you, she comes over, sniffs your hands and face and then likes to be stroked. If a familiar 2-legged friend comes to her, her joy is huge. Ronda loves to be stroked and cuddled. Ronda likes to show her affection for us 2-legged friends by giving kisses and cuddles. Ronda looks lovingly at her 2-legged friend, hoping to be allowed to go with her human. Ronda is an agile, young dog who is curious to explore her world. She is interested in everything new, but proceeds with caution. Ronda is not a daredevil or rushes forward headlong, on the contrary, she looks, weighs things up and takes her time.

We are looking for dog-experienced people for Ronda who will show this pretty little dog how wonderful a dog's life can be with us. Lovely walks, adventures, a soft basket, cuddles and snuggles with her human - yes, Ronda would love that. The pretty female still has a lot to learn, but with the patience, empathy and love of her new family, Ronda will certainly be able to master many things. Ronda would certainly not mind having a friendly dog buddy in her new home. However, this is not a must. Attending a dog school would be desirable.

Ronda will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, castrated and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.

Romina

Age: app. born mid of April 2022
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 46 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats

Some time has now passed since Romina and her siblings were found in time and brought to safety. Otherwise, the 4 fur babies would most probably have died of thirst. But now the 4 young dogs live with Anca in their "safe place" together with other dogs of the same species. Romina, Ronda, Rasty and Resi (Resi has found a home) have developed very well and have grown into cheerful and bright young dogs. They love playing catch or pulling rope with their dog friends. Or they can lie together and doze off after a strenuous game of racing. Romina also knows cats and has no problems with velvet paws.

Romina is friendly and curious towards us humans. Strange 2-legged friends are first observed and scrutinised. Romina is shy and cautious for the first few minutes. However, Romina is no longer shy with 2-legged friends that she knows. She likes to come close and be stroked. She is also curious about us, sniffing our hands and faces to get to know the other person.

Romina spent her puppy and young dog days in the shelter. She is unfamiliar with many everyday noises. Romina, who is only medium-sized and pretty, needs dog-experienced people who are familiar with shy dogs and can give Romina a sense of security. With patience, empathy, dog sense, time and lots of love, Romina can certainly learn many things that would be important in our world. The pretty Romina would certainly have no objection to a friendly, confident dog buddy in her new home who would take her by the paw and help her to settle in.

Romina will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, castrated and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.

Ioana

Age: app. born June 2021)
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 40 cm (short legs/long body)
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats

Ioana has grown up to be a friendly, open-minded and bright young dog. She now lives with Anca in her "safe place" with other dogs of both sexes without any problems. Ioana likes to be in the middle of everything and is almost always available for a game of tug or other playful activities. If a dog friend finds something exciting, like a feather or leaf, it is examined and tested to see if it is suitable for playing with.

Ioana is very attached to humans. She loves us humans more than anything, it doesn't matter whether it's a man, woman or child, the main thing is to cuddle her, stroke her and caress her. Ioana is usually the first one at the fence when a visitor approaches her enclosure to greet them in a friendly and sometimes a bit stormy manner. In the first few minutes, her joy knows no bounds. Ioana turns onto her back so that the visitor can stroke her. Giving kisses, licking hands, Ioana wants to show "her" humans how much she likes them.

Weeks, months, years go by and Ioana is unfortunately still with Anca in the "safe place". This leaves its mark on Ioana. On the outside, Ioana's face has turned white, although the cuddly dog lady is not yet that old. But inside, her love for us 2-legged friends is unbroken. We hope so much that Ioana will one day find her humans and be allowed to travel to them, into a dog's life with activities, lots of cuddles and lots of love.

Ioana is curious about everything and she wants to get to know the world. She wants to know what else is out there and she would like to do this with her human, with her family. We are looking for people for Ioana who would like to "work" with their new companion. People who want to encourage and challenge Ioana. It seems that Ioana is very interested in smells and sport/play activities. Possibly Ioana's new people would enjoy developing Ioana's liking. Children should be of a stable age as the young lady can be too boisterous at times. Attendance at a dog school would be desirable.

Ioana will be completely vaccinated, chipped, castrated and dewormed by the time she embarks on her journey.

Lexy

Age: app. born April 2021
Gender: female
Neutered:
yes
Height: app. 50 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs

Many months have passed since Lexy was rescued. The dog girl has recovered and grown into a female who is always in a good mood. Lexy is cheerful and always to be found where there is something going on or happening. She is curious and wants to get to know the world. Lexy gets along well with her dog friends. She likes to romp with them and tease with hers. No dog is safe from Lexy's demands to play. Because Lexy is very social with her fellow dogs, she lives freely in an outdoor enclosure with other dogs of both sexes. Lexy also loves water. She "digs" in water bowls, snaps at a stream of water, lies down in a tub full of water. Unfortunately, Lexy can't really live out her preference.

With us humans, Lexy is just as playful as she is with her fellow dogs. Tug-of-war games or carrying things around are part of it. Cuddling and being stroked is clearly one of Lexy's favourite activities, even before playing. It doesn't matter if it's a woman, a man or a child. Lexy enjoys being stroked, stretches herself or even pushes her hand so that she can be cuddled further. The lovely female has a short coat and appears to be rather strong with long legs.

However, Lexy has sensitive, delicate eyes. They are always inflamed or encrusted at the edges. If Lexy's eyes are cleaned every day, these symptoms disappear. Unfortunately, this is not possible for Anca to the extent that Lexy needs it. Especially in summer, when it is dusty due to dryness, Lexy's eyes suffer more than in winter.

We are looking for experienced people for Lexy who would like to encourage her love of digging water and who are not angry with Lexy if she digs in puddles. Lexy would also enjoy nice walks and adventures, as well as cuddling and resting. Lexy's new people should be aware that Lexy's eyes need special care and this will take time. We think it would be nice for Lexy to be the princess in her new home. Attending a dog school would be desirable.

Lexy will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, castrated and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.
