A dusty, sandy path - 4 young puppies running around in the middle of this path. They don't know where to go. They were zigzagging back and forth. It was around midday and it was a very warm day. The little ones were panting heavily. 2 of the little furry noses couldn't go any further, were exhausted and sat down, in the blazing sun. 2 children saw the puppies sitting there in the middle of the dusty path. A lady passed the little furry noses and just walked on. No one cared about the puppies.

Anca received several messages that 4 puppies had been found abandoned. She also received phone calls telling her that 4 puppies were in need of help in Trusesti. But no one was willing to take them in for a short time and bring them to safety. But then a young woman called Anca and agreed to take in the 4 puppies until the next morning, give them water and something to eat. Anca promised to pick up the 4 puppies as soon as she could. Now Romina, Resi, Ronda and Rasty are safe with Anca and being nursed.

Some time has now passed since Romina and her siblings were found in time and brought to safety. Otherwise, the 4 fur babies would most probably have died of thirst. But now the 4 young dogs live with Anca in their "safe place" together with other dogs of the same species. Romina, Ronda, Rasty and Resi (Resi has found a home) have developed very well and have grown into cheerful and bright young dogs. They love playing catch or pulling rope with their dog friends. Or they can lie together and doze off after a strenuous game of racing. Romina also knows cats and has no problems with velvet paws.

Romina is friendly and curious towards us humans. Strange 2-legged friends are first observed and scrutinised. Romina is shy and cautious for the first few minutes. However, Romina is no longer shy with 2-legged friends that she knows. She likes to come close and be stroked. She is also curious about us, sniffing our hands and faces to get to know the other person.

Romina spent her puppy and young dog days in the shelter. She is unfamiliar with many everyday noises. Romina, who is only medium-sized and pretty, needs dog-experienced people who are familiar with shy dogs and can give Romina a sense of security. With patience, empathy, dog sense, time and lots of love, Romina can certainly learn many things that would be important in our world. The pretty Romina would certainly have no objection to a friendly, confident dog buddy in her new home who would take her by the paw and help her to settle in.

Romina will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, castrated and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.
