An elderly couple live in poor conditions in Anca's neighbourhood. You can't see much from the outside as the property is surrounded by a high fence. Nevertheless, you can hear chickens and the occasional dog whining. Rumours circulated that the wife had died and the husband was addicted to alcohol. He would not treat his animals well. You would often hear a dog crying. Anca wanted to investigate the rumours and visit the man to offer her help. But as she stood outside the property herself, she heard the whining of several dogs.

An old man opened the door and let Anca onto his property. She saw 2 wooden huts, each with a dog tied to a chain in front of it. One dog still had 2 puppies running around. The chains were only about 1.5 metres long and there was a bowl, but it was empty. No water, no food. The two dogs were females, not spayed of course. They had longer fur, which was very dirty and matted. Both were quite thin and you could clearly feel their ribs under their fur.

The two females were very sweet, but also very submissive. You could clearly tell that the two females were afraid of misbehaving and not being treated well in return. The old man didn't really want these dogs. His wife had looked after the dogs. But now the old lady had died.

Anca sensed the helplessness of the furry noses and simply had to help them. She persuaded the old man to hand over the 4 dogs to her. Fortunately, Anca wasn't there alone, but with a helper, so she was able to take all 4 furry noses straight away. The two puppies were a boy and a girl. The girl puppy was submissive, just like her mum. She immediately turned her head in a different direction when you looked at her. But she let herself be picked up without any problems. This was Renata.

Renata is friendly with Anca but rather submissive towards people. She doesn't really know how she should behave yet. She has no problem being picked up, touched and stroked. But if you put Renata back on the floor, she immediately sneaks into a corner and would prefer to disappear into the floor. Renata will need time to come to terms with the new situation. Things are improving day by day and we are sure that Renata will soon be able to enjoy her new life.

We are looking for people with experience in dealing with shy furry noses for this shy puppy girl. We are looking for people who can give Renata a sense of security and show her with patience, empathy, time, dog sense and lots of love how wonderful a life with us can be. Renata needs time to arrive and to understand and get to know our world. A confident first dog who takes Renata by the paw and shows her many things would be an advantage.

Renata will be completely vaccinated, dewormed and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.
