Last week, we were able to collect a full lorry load of food donations for Anca's dogs.

The food was donated by Mobile Tierarztpraxis Dr Katrin Wontorra - ganzheitlich orientiert, (who founded Tierarztpraxis ohne Grenzen gUG and also runs a social veterinary practice, the Zentrum für Tier und Mensch in Mettmann and the Tiertafel Mettmann).

As the temperatures are already around freezing point, it is important to feed the stray dogs every day. With the help of Anca's volunteers, we were able to provide some stray dogs with additional food.

Anca received a lovely surprise today.

A small lorry drove up to Anca's home and inside were two pallets for Anca. Full to the brim with dry dog and cat food and tins of wet food. We were delighted to receive this additional food.

These pallets of food were donated and sent by Michael Hiemann, a very animal-loving person and loyal supporter.

Lara and Nicki, two young women from Germany, visited Anca in Botosani for a week to get to know Anca's "everyday life".

13 January is Anca's birthday. :-)

The best present one can give her is to donate food for "her" animals. Anca's colleagues at the high school in Trusesti did the same and collected food. Anca was able to buy almost 4 bags from the proceeds.
