A female dog lived on the premises of a construction company on the outskirts of Botosani. The female was very friendly towards people and occasionally begged passers-by for food. This included a man who passed by the site every day on his way to work. He was very fond of dogs and also of this female with her gentle look. Every day he had something for the female to eat in his bag.

At some point, not only was the female there, but 5 puppies appeared. They were her babies. The man would have loved to help the little dog family. It was simply too dangerous for the puppies, because lorries were driving around the construction company's site with no regard for the dogs. The only thing he could do to help them was to feed the family every day. The man also tried to find a safe place for the small dog family.

Anca heard this story from a friend. She also told her that it was not possible for the man to take the dog family into his home, as he lived with his wife in a flat in the centre of Botosani. Anca wanted to help and that's how the contact with this man came about. The owner of the construction company didn't really care whether the female and her puppies lived there or not. So the man "packed" the dog family into his car and took them to Anca.

The dog family was now safe with Anca. Justka, the female mum, took great care of her offspring. She was very good-natured and patient with her puppy. As Justka is estimated to be around 6 years old, these are not her first babies. You can see from her body that she has already had several pregnancies in her life. Her mammary glands/belly have lost some of their firmness. This will reduce somewhat, but it is possible that a slight pendulous belly will remain. Although Justka is a middle-aged dog, she seems to enjoy exercise and would certainly love a walk. But she also likes to lie with her humans, doze or watch them.

Justka is friendly with other dogs and makes contact, but afterwards she tends to be reserved and goes her own way. People are much more interesting for Justka. She accepts cats without any ifs or buts.

Now to Justka's character. At some point, a long time ago, the dog's nose bridge was probably burnt off. Unfortunately, this is an old superstition that diseases, pregnancies or unwanted behaviour can be exorcised in this way. Even though Justka has not had good experiences with people, she has never stopped believing in us 2-legged friends. Justka is a loving, gentle and modest female. She is friendly and very open to us humans. Woman, man, child, Justka loves us. She loves being stroked and cuddled more than anything. If you talk to her, she closes her eyes slightly and enjoys the attention. She literally melts away. Gentle, caressing hands are a dream for Justka.

How happy would Justka be if she found her own humans? A soft basket, always food and fresh water. And the best thing for Justka - gentle, caressing touches, cuddles and kind words. It would be a dream come true for Justak. We don't know what Justka knows and can do. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, commands are all things that may be foreign to her. With patience, empathy, time and lots of love, Justka will certainly be able to master many things.

Justka will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, chipped and castrated by the time she embarks on her journey.
