Why is Rex looking for supporters?

His story:
In Trusesti, a village in the district of Botosani, lived an elderly lady. One day she was offered two puppies at the age of eight weeks and since she had no animals, she took both puppies in. From then on the two brothers lived with this older lady in the garden on a chain. Each of them had a hut and about 1.5 m chain radius. Many years Rex and Lenny lived there. Day in and day out. Without change. Only with little encouragement. In any weather - no matter if it was 40°C in summer or -25°C in winter, Rex and Lenny endured it. But then the old lady died. Nobody wanted to take the two dogs in. They were threatened with being killed or being taken to the public shelter.

Nicu, a young man who loves dogs very much and also helps Anca as a foster parent, learned this. He brought both dogs, now about six years old, to his home. With Nicu, Rex and Lenny learned what it is like to move freely - without a chain. How it is to live in a house or to be petted. Lenny quickly found his own family in Germany and was able to leave the country, but his brother Rex could not leave his past behind so easily.

Rex is a sensible dog, but he does not get along so well with strangers. He is not afraid, on the contrary, he goes forward and then can be a very unpleasant presence. Rex has adapted very well to his foster home. There he has found "his" task.
Namely ... Rex loves puppies. He behaves like a loving uncle. He takes care of them, protects them, nurses them, plays with them, and takes care of their digestion :-). For Nicu as a foster dad, Rex has become a very helpful family member and it is impossible to imagine a life without him. And the most important thing, Rex is happy and content here.

Therefore we would like to make it possible for Rex to stay with Nicu, his foster father, forever and are looking for godparents for Rex, who will help him to stay there until the end of his life. That his food is taken care of, as well as his care, like vaccination, deworming, and parasite treatments.
