The train station of Trusesti is located on the village border.
The landscape here resembles a barren piece of wilderness.
Hard, robust grass and scrub, plus mountains of rubble and eroded soil.

And behind the station is a converted company site. This place has been chosen by 5 street dogs and 1 tomcat as their "home".

Nobody knows where these 5 dogs come from.

All 5 dogs have scars on their bodies. We can only guess what their past is. At some point they found their way there and since then Anca has been feeding them. The owner of the company's premises tolerates these 6 furry noses in front of his company. So the 5 dogs and 1 tomcat have a relatively safe place there.

Anca visits the group every day. They get food, water, treats, encouragement and kind words. But even though the 5 street dogs are incredibly happy when Anca visits them, they are reserved and cautious, hardly allowing themselves to be touched. It is difficult for Anca to keep the animals free of parasites, but somehow she still manages to do it as best she can.

Even though these 5 dogs form a pack, they are not hostile towards conspecifics. On the contrary. They also let strays eat from their food. Anca observes this again and again, for example that dogs she knows from the cemetery or the industrial area are also allowed to get a portion of dry food there.

From time to time, there is also a double dog house where a few street bitches had already given birth to their puppies. The 5 dogs look after the dog families so that the mother dog could devote herself entirely to her offspring.
