Castrations are the foundation of the prevention
of unwanted animal suffering.
Not just stray dogs and cats have to be castrated to work against the flood of offspring and enable the grown animals to live in stress-free togetherness – Cats and dogs with owners also have to be castrated in a timely manner.
Anca is trying to get into a conversation with these owners, to explain the necessity and advantages of this procedure.
Many dogs are living outside, as watchdogs they’re left outdoors for hours, leaving the female dogs , once they reach sexual maturity, in danger of being impregnated when in heat.
Associations like Hundehilfe NRW e.V., but also private people support Anca in her endeavor against the flood of puppies, contributing to castrations again and again.
