Emergencies
In this category we would like to introduce you to our emergency fur.
space
We would like to tell their story, show their suffering and their (hopeful) recovery or the improvement of their quality of life.
Most of them are animals that have suffered severe and painful injuries at the hands of humans or have had to endure deformities from birth.
We would like to tell you about the energy and strong will to live that these wonderful souls have, despite their usually severe disabilities and pain.
And sometimes there is a happy ending at the end of their suffering. A family, people who fall in love with these fighters and give them a loving and sheltered home.
If you would like to support our emergency felines, we would be very pleased.
Often there are high veterinary costs due to operations, medication or special treatments.
However, this support is only possible through donors.
People with a big heart for animals and empathy.
Please help so that we can help animals in need.

Jaman - 3-legged
Age: born app. mid of November 2023
Gender: male
Neutered: no, too young
Height: when grow up app. medium size (30 cm at April)
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats
Handicap: 3-legged - left front leg amputated
It didn't look good for Jaman. Unfortunately, there was only one solution for the little dog boy. His left front leg had to be amputated. The old fracture had caused the paw, leg, tendons and ligaments to grow back together twisted. Jaman lost his left front leg completely. But not his zest for life and his desire to walk.
The first few days were difficult for little Jaman to keep his balance and walk, but the brave puppy kept trying. Step by step, he fought for his mobility, even if it meant falling over, Jaman got up again and ‘hopped on’. He would not be deterred. Jaman's courage to face life was unbroken. Despite his handicap, Jaman is a lively, playful dog boy who loves to wrestle and crawl with his fellow dogs. He usually does this lying down or sitting up. Jaman is also curious about his environment and wants to get to know and understand it.
Little Jaman is very cuddly towards us humans and loves us 2-legged friends very much. Jaman loves cuddling, sitting/lying on your lap and watching the goings-on around him. The brave puppy enjoys being stroked immensely and loves giving kisses. If you look at Jaman's face, you see a cheerful puppy, his eyes light up and you might think Jaman is smiling.
How happy Jaman would be if he found his own humans, his own soft basket, caressing hands and a gentle voice to encourage him to get to know his new world. We are looking for people for Jaman who would like to take on the challenge of a 3-legged furry nose. His home should be at ground level. Even though Jaman only has 3 legs and is physically limited, he is a furry nose who wants to be encouraged. Nose work, tricks and commands would certainly bring Jaman fun and fulfilment.
Jaman will be completely vaccinated, dewormed and chipped by the time he embarks on his journey.
Jaman's story (as far as we know it) as well as photos and videos can be found here
Rocky
Age: app. born end of June 2022
Gender: female
Neutered: yes
Height: app. 40 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats
Handicap: Lags - left front leg is not fully loaded.
Special feature: Stumpy tail
After a few more weeks, Rocky got to grips with his handicap better and better. He limps when he walks because he doesn't put full weight on his leg, but he uses it. What's more, his true character started to shine through. Rocky is a ray of sunshine. A cheerful, funny and playful fellow who enjoys every day anew. Rocky loves to play, romp and run with his mates. It doesn't matter what sex, age or size he is. Everyone is encouraged to romp around.
And Rocky loves us humans more than anything. Woman, man, child - Rocky wants to be cuddled and stroked. When a two-legged friend comes to him, he is delighted and prances around. His eyes light up and you might think Rocky is smiling. Cuddly Rocky loves to lie on your lap and be stroked and enjoys being close to us humans. But Rocky is also a little clown, who sometimes has nonsense in his head or "the mischief in his neck". He likes to "steal" things and then proudly carry them around. For example, the treat bag if you're not careful.
We would like to mention one more thing. Due to his repeated trips to the vet, Rocky knows how to drive a car. He always behaved in an exemplary calm manner, lay patiently on the back seat and waited. Rocky also knows cats and has no problems with velvet paws.
We are looking for people for the cuddly and cheerful Rocky, preferably a family with older children, who are willing and able to accept Rocky's handicap. People who realise that Rocky is not a marathon runner, but still has needs such as exercise, playing and being challenged. But the most important thing for Rocky is us 2-legged friends. Cuddling and being stroked are very important to Rocky.
Rocky will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, chipped and castrated by the time he embarks on his journey.

Edy - 2 - legged
Age: app. born July 2020
Gender: female
Neutered: yes
Height: app. 45 cm
Sociable with: male and female dogs, puppies and cats
Handicap: left hind leg severed up to the knee (accident earlier),
left front leg up to the elbow no feeling anymore (probably nerves severed).
When Anca brought neutered dogs back to a farm, she saw the handicap male with a new injury on his front leg. It appeared to be broken. Edy, as Anca now called the male dog, hopped up to her on two legs and allowed himself to be stroked. Anca took Edy with her and wanted to introduce him to her vet in Botosani. She hoped that there would be a way to help Edy. And so it happened. Anca's vet suggested a fixator on Edy's front leg. It was an attempt to save Edy's leg. However, at that time they couldn't be sure that the nerves, ligaments and tendons were still intact. This would only be found out when the fixator was removed. Edy was a very kind and patient patient who let everything happen to him without any resistance or grumbling.
After some time, the fixator was removed. Unfortunately, it turned out that Edy was not putting any weight on his front leg. Anca's vet suggested a second operation to insert a plate. Unfortunately, this option did not bring the desired success for Edy either. The nerves were probably damaged in the accident. Edy cannot use his left front leg/paw. The vet sees no other way to help Edy. Edy now hops around his little world on 2 legs.
Edy is a very cuddly and affectionate male dog who is grateful for every little bit of attention and enjoys it. Just being there is enough for this handsome male. Edy likes to lie in the sun and watch the goings-on around him. He also gets on well with other dogs, regardless of gender, size or age. He likes companions who play gently with him while lying down and cuddling. Edy avoids other dogs that romp around him too much, run or even bump into him, and goes on his way. Cats are no problem at all for Edy. He accepts them as full members of the family.
Edy copes very well with his handicap. He has learnt to keep his balance. Edy even jumps/runs up and down a few steps at an amazing speed. Edy also jumps onto elevated loungers so that he can be properly cuddled by two-legged friends. If a visitor comes into the outdoor area where Edy lives with Anca, he jumps/runs towards the 2-legged friend to greet him. He usually sits down in front of the person and waits to be stroked. Then his eyes light up and it seems as if Edy is smiling.
We are looking for help, an opportunity for this cuddly male where he can enjoy his years, with lots of cuddles, a soft basket and a nice, securely fenced garden. Perhaps a place of mercy, perhaps people who would like to give Edy a home at ground level. Even if the chances are very slim, we hope so much that Edy will find a forever home.
Edy will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, chipped and castrated by the time he embarks on his journey.
