A small rubbish dump behind a block of flats in the centre of Trusesti, where everything is thrown away, from building rubble to household waste, old clothes, as well as old furniture, bulky waste. And also, time and again, unwanted pets. Yes, unfortunately it happens again and again that young puppies are simply dumped in one of the containers. If the little furbabies are "lucky", they are simply put in a cardboard box next to the rubbish containers and thus still have a chance to attract attention or to be seen.

This is what happened to three young puppies, only a few weeks old, that Cristina, one of Anca's helpers, found next to the rubbish dump one morning. Hungry, thirsty, disoriented and helpless, the 3 puppies were running around in circles. The little ones had learned from their mum that if they always moved in circles, she would always find them. Unfortunately, their mummy was no longer there, but Cristina was. She took the 3 puppies and brought them to safety, to her home.

Some time has passed since Cristina found Kylie and her siblings at the rubbish tip. Kylie survived and has grown into a friendly and people-orientated female. She has changed her foster home and moved in with Anca in her "safe place". There, the pretty Kylie lives together with other male and female dogs of different sizes and ages without any problems. Kylie is rather calm and level-headed. If the other dogs run around excitedly when a small bird has strayed into the enclosure, Kylie sits down and watches the "theatre" from the sidelines. You might think she is "smiling" and thinking how stupid the other dogs are because they will never catch the bird. This is the impression Kylie gives when you watch her.

When a visitor enters Kylie's enclosure, she looks to see who the other person is. If you call her to you, Kylie comes running over joyfully to greet the 2-legged friend. Wagging her tail, licking her hands and looking enamoured is how Kylie shows her delight at this attention. She loves us two-legged friends, she loves being stroked, she wants to go with her human when he leaves the enclosure. Then Kylie looks after them sadly, sits down and waits again for the moment when a human comes back into her enclosure and has a little time for her. Kylie also knows cats and has no problems with velvet paws.

Kylie has no objection to a harness and walking on a lead also works. (but there is still room for improvement) She pays attention to her human and can be led. Sniffing is a great pleasure for Kylie and she really enjoys picking up scents outside the shelter.

Kylie has a little speciality. Since birth, Kylie has had a stumpy tail, which she can wag super well. She can signal her joy and excitement with her stumpy tail just as well as any other dog with a long tail. Kylie's mates don't see her peculiarity as a problem or even a flaw.

We are looking for people for pretty Kylie who want to teach her new things with patience, calmness and joy. People who want to encourage and challenge Kylie with dog sense and develop her passion for sniffing. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, commands and so much more are all things that Kylie doesn't know. But with the empathy of her new humans, Kylie will certainly be able to master many of them. Kylie would certainly not mind having a friendly dog buddy in her new home. Attending a dog school would be desirable.

Kylie will be completely vaccinated, dewormed, castrated and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.
